On a glorious evening at the start of rush for the fraternity DSP, two lovebirds met and bonded. At first, what started out as a mentor-mentee relationship turned deeper, and before long, we were secretly dating. In fear of being exposed, our covert relationship meetings took place late at night.

Time flew, and before long, Ben graduated from college and moved to Maryland for work, while Caren stayed in Binghamton, NY, to finish her master's degree. The first test of strength for our relationship came quickly: long distance. Times were tough between us due to the stress from school and work. Without each other's comforting presence and busy schedules, doubt about our relationship seeped in. However, love prevailed.

Not long after Ben and Caren moved back to NYC for work, we faced our second relationship test: living together. Learning each other's habits proved to be difficult and overbearing at times; nonetheless, we learned. We communicated and compromised, which only strengthened our love.
